Introduction

India has the second-largest population of adults with diabetes, with about 77 million people affected. This is expected to reach 134 million by 2045​.

About 90-95% of all diabetes cases are Type 2 diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition in which the body becomes resistant to insulin or doesn’t produce enough insulin to regulate blood sugar levels effectively. It is primarily associated with lifestyle factors such as obesity, poor diet, and lack of physical activity, although genetics can also play a role.

Research shows that lifestyle modifications such as maintaining a healthy diet and staying physically active​ can reduce the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes by 58%.

These statistics highlight the urgent need for awareness, prevention, and effective management of diabetes.

Pre-diabetes often has no clear symptoms, making it difficult to detect without blood tests. The following criteria are used to diagnose pre-diabetes:

    1. Fasting Blood Sugar Levels Between 100-125 mg/dL

Through meditation and pranayama, we’ll work on these glands that will bring overall balance to your health.

ASANAS FOR PANCREATIC ACTIVATION

The Pancreas secretes insulin. Diabetes is caused due to irregularities in insulin production. Healing the pancreas using specific yogic practices is the core of the workshop.
